Dr. Wheeler has been serving the youth of Nicholasville for over 20 years. We know that a lifetime of healthy smiles begins with a baby’s first tooth. Our kid-friendly practice is built on a love for children and a desire for them to be comfortable with dentistry. Dr. Wheeler has completed several years of additional training, beyond dental school, to specialize in providing dental care that’s specific to children. All of our kid-centered services are provided in a calm, caring environment in order to provide you and your child with a positive experience. In our opinion, taking your child to see a pediatric dental specialist is as important as taking them to see a pediatrician.

WHAT AGE SHOULD MY CHILD SEE A PEDIATRIC DENTIST?

The AAPD recommends that your child should be seen no later than 6 months after their first tooth erupts from the gum. Little teeth need as much attention as “big teeth” to prevent decay and encourage life-long healthy habits.
